Help available in preparing for college entrance exams

The I Can Center of Excellence, a regional college access program, will host SAT and ACT workshops to help students prepare for these important college entrance exams.
According to organizers, students who prepare for the SAT and ACT improve their scores significantly.
The first sessions will focus on the SAT prep, including sessions on test taking strategies, practice tests, and test preparation. The second workshop session will focus on the ACT prep, and also includes sessions on test taking strategies, practice tests, and test preparation.
SAT workshops will be held Saturday, September 13, 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. ACT workshops will be held on Saturday, September 27, 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Participants may choose from one of two workshop locations for each workshop:

There is a $10 is refundable registration fee that will be returned at the end of the workshop. The I CAN Center of Excellence is a program developed to motivate students of all ages to view higher education as necessary, desirable, and obtainable. The I CAN Center of Excellence program is developing, implementing, and promoting a college access program in the seven county region of Marion, Delaware, Union, Morrow, Hardin, Wyandot and Crawford. The program started in 1998 as a partnership between The Marion Rotary Club and The Ohio State University at Marion and serviced the Marion City School system. In 2001, the program was expanded to all Marion County schools. In 2006, the successful program expanded to the seven county region serviced by The Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College. Over 100 students have received Last Dollar Grant scholarships and hundreds more have received assistance in getting to college.
The I CAN Center of Excellence message is simple, "Have dreams, go to school, work hard, and graduate. Then, all things are possible."
The I CAN Center of Excellence is a Marion County United Way Agency.
