Urgent Care Completes Second Year

Since opening on June 23, 2006 Immediate Urgent Care has seen over 17,000 patients. “The community’s response to our Urgent Care has been fantastic. We had no idea things would take off this fast,” said Marc Hogenbirk, Director of Operations. “We are receiving patients who have been referred by their primary care physician, insurance carrier, friends and family. On average we are helping close to 30 patients a day.”

The facility features 8 private treatment rooms plus a digital (computerized) x-ray. There are no paper files, all findings are kept on an electronic medical record system which provides much quicker service. “One of our main goals at Immediate Urgent Care is to conveniently treat a patient so they can get on their way as soon as possible, despite their minor ailment,” states Dr. David Mauk, owner; “our patients are truly thankful; many have returned 2 or 3 times with different conditions, they really appreciate the quick service and lower co-pays.” Immediate Urgent Care employs four medical doctors, four nurses, and two radiological technicians.

Open from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. 7 days a week. Immediate Urgent Care treats patients any age suffering from ailments such as flu, poison ivy, broken bones, skin lacerations, rashes, ear infections, eye injuries, among many other things.
