MARION — The Elgin High School Baseball and Football program is holding its annual golf outing on Sunday, July 25 at Kings Mill Golf Course in Waldo. The start time is 8:30 a.m.
This is a charitable event that will provide funds for various improvements in the Elgin Baseball/Football Programs. Planned areas of improvement include: new football blocking sled, new linemen chutes, baseball spring trip, and new equipment. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, and skins.
The cost is $60 per golfer. This price includes 18 holes of golf with cart, golf balls, and lunch, plus the opportunity for prizes through a variety of events.
