The Marion County Athletic Booster Association will hold an Independence Day Bingo on July 1 in the bingo hall on Ohio 4 north of Marion.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and bingo will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Hamburgers, bratwurst and hot dogs will be served and players should bring a dish for a potluck. Prizes to be awarded will include a Whirlpool washer and dryer combination, five grocery sacks of Angus beef, and a smoker grill.

The athletic boosters will also hold a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament on August 7th.
The buy-in will be $40 and the winner will receive at least a 34-percent payout. The top 10 players will be paid based on 200 players.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the first card to be dealt at noon. Extra games and a raffle will be available.
