InChant
The Marion campus contemporary a cappella group InChant welcomes the university community, friends, family, and the public to their first concert event of 2010, “Shut Up and Sing,” Thursday, February 18, 6:30 p.m. in Morrill Hall Auditorium.

This concert promises an evening of hit songs performed without the aid of musical instruments, back up tracks, or studio tricks. InChant will perform songs by Katy Perry, Kanye West, Uncle Kracker, Norah Jones, The B-52’s, and the Bee Gees, in addition to songs of collegiate significance and a host of classics from the heyday of American jazz and early rock n roll.

Special guest performer Nick Wilkinson will open for InChant with what can be best described as a unique coffee house acoustic set. Admission is free for Ohio State Marion and Marion Technical College students, faculty, and staff. General admission is $5 for the public.

InChant is a campus based student group/music organization open to students currently enrolled at Marion Technical College and The Ohio State University at Marion. Vocalists are chosen via annual audition. 2010 members of InChant include: Kali Creasap, Patrick Chitwood, Morgan Candel, Jessica Johnson, Matthew Maloney, Chris Welker, Austin King, My Nguyen, Nathan Garrett, and Derrick Young.

This event is sponsored by The Ohio State University at Marion Office of Student Affairs.
