Marion Elks Hoop Shoot Winners

Over 50 youngsters ages 8 through 13 competed in the December 5th Marion Elks Lodge 32 Area Hoop Shoot competition. This was the 39th year that the Marion Elks have sponsored the “Hoop Shoot” free-throw shooting contest where youth can advance from the local level through district, state, and on to the national level. The Elks Hoop Shoot was held this year at the Grant Middle School (the former Harding High School) gymnasiums.

The local winners of each age bracket will advance to the Elks North Central District Hoop Shoot Contest, January 17th in Wooster. From there, winners continue on to the state finals in Columbus in February.

The Marion area winners are:
8-9 Year old 1st Place:
Boys- Connor Rettig
Girls- Krosbi Clark

10-11 Year old 1st Place:
Boys- Ryan Kinietz
Girls-Fallyn Stephens


12-13 Year old 1st Place:
Boys-Ronnie Rayburn
Girls-Arielle Anderson
