The Ohio State University at Marion is pleased to announce its tenth season of Kids’ College with even more fun and learning opportunities in its schedule of summer day camps for the 2008 season, which will begin June 16 and run through July 10.

Kids’ College offers summer enrichment experiences that are designed to expand the horizons of young adventurers from age 7 to 13 and to introduce them to college and specifically the Marion campus. The program has been offered to the children of Crawford, Delaware, Hardin, Marion, Morrow, Union, and Wyandot Counties by The Ohio State University at Marion since 1999.

Eight independent four-day camps will be offered this summer with individual course sections beginning June 16-19, June 23-26, and July 7-10. 2008 day camp offerings include Passport to Fishing, LEGO® Engineering, Kangaroos and Didgeridoos, GarageBand Podcasting, Alley-Oop, CSI...Marion, Altered Books, and Spanning the Globe.

Costs for courses range from $55 to $65 per session. Group course discounts for three or more courses or three or more children are available to families. Scholarships are also available based on financial need to assist with the cost of a course. If enrolled in two classes the same week, there will be a supervised break between sessions, and a box lunch will be available. (However, children with special dietary needs must bring their own lunches.) Class sizes are limited, so early enrollment is encouraged. Sessions are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.

For a registration form visit: www.marion.ohio-state.edu/community/registration.pdf or for more information contact: Ohio State Marion Office of Community Relations, (740) 725-6341, or e-mail: babich.5@osu.edu.
