Labor Day Closures for City of Marion

Mayor Scott Schertzer is announcing the following closures for the City of Marion on Monday, September 1st in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
All offices in City Hall will be closed.

Sanitation crews will not work on Monday, September 1st. Residents that normally have Monday sanitation service are asked to have their collections at curbside by 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2nd. Sanitation crews will collect both Monday and Tuesday’s refuse on Tuesday, with the possibility that some of Tuesday’s collection could extend into Wednesday.… Read More

Emergency road closure information

Weather-permitting, an emergency closure will occur from 7:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 through approximately 10:00 am Thursday, July 31, 2014 for Leader Street between W. Center St. and Silver St. ODOT will be performing deep pavement repairs in the area under the railroad overpass, which will then require a two-step process for repaving this portion of the street.… Read More

Rosa & Rocco’s Golf Outing With Proceeds to Benefit United Way

Calling all golfers. On Monday, August 4th at the Marion Country Club (2415 Crissinger Road, Marion, Ohio), Rosa & Rocco’s is hosting a golf outing to benefit United Way of Marion County. Lunch starts at noon, followed by a 1:00pm shotgun start. A steak dinner, prizes, raffles and live entertainment will follow at Rosa & Rocco’s.
